Each year, a panel of judges
attends all performances given
by Hawkeye Community Theatre
and vote on 4 awards; Best Actor
Female and Male Lead Role; and
Best Actor Female and Male
Supporting Role.
These are announced
and awarded at
the Annual Meeting and
Awards Banquet at the
end of each season.
Additionally, a Service Award
is given to an individual voted
on by the board of directors as
most deserving, based upon
service to the theatre.
The 2011 People’s Choice Awards
are based upon patron voting at
each show during the year.

The Awards Banquet... ...a Night at the Hectors
The HCT Awards Banquet is held each year in conjunction with the Annual Meeting.
The Annual Meeting is open to all active HCT Membership holders and is held in January each year, location of the banquet revolves between servers so check back for this year’s location.
At the Annual Meeting there is everything you could want to know about HCT fiscally, operatively, and logistically. New Board of Director nominees are introduced, nominated and elections are held for the same.
Socializing and dinner precede the meeting which culminates with the formal presentation of the Annual Awards, the "Hector", and the People's Choice Awards, the "Henley".
